Hi, I’m Grace!
Welcome Giving with Grace, a little corner of the internet, where we discuss millennial adulthood and the many things it entails. If you love gift-giving, hosting parties, saving money & making money, you are in the right place! So please think of me as a friend to walk with you as you celebrate your big life celebrations.
Planning a wedding? I’ve got tips for that. Planning your bestie’s baby shower? Oh, I have great ideas for you! Celebrating your friend that bought a new house, what kind of gift basket are we making? Need to save money to pay down your student loans? I’ve got budgeting ideas for you!
The idea of Giving with Grace came at a point in my mid-20s I was experiencing and planning many significant life changes. My friends were getting married, having babies, starting businesses, and buying homes. I had just gotten married, planned and budgeted for my wedding, and recently purchased a home. I was attending and planning (and still am) many bridal showers, weddings, and baby showers, and celebrating friends’ big life wins, like starting businesses and buying houses. I wanted to share my knowledge of these life experiences. So why not blog about it? I am here to give you a little bit of what I have learned in my 28+ years of life in hopes that it can help you, whatever phase of life you are in.
After five-plus years of working in marketing, creating content and blogs for other businesses, why not give blogging a chance and put everything I have learned so far into a creative outlet that also can make money?
So that is how this blog was born. I started it in 2020, but I let life get in the way and restarted this blog in 2022. So if you are reading this, I am glad you are here, thank you for giving some of your precious time to reading my story, and I hope you stick around.
Here are a few fun facts about me:
- I’m the planner friend that’s early to everything
- Coffee is my love language
- My hobbies include spending time with family and friends, traveling with my husband, browsing the aisles of TJ Maxx, playing tennis, and trying different gluten-free recipes on Pinterest
- I’ve been with my husband for almost 10 years (dating and married)! He’s the love of my life, and I am incredibly grateful for his love and support.
